Essential Information:
- Check-In: Arrive before 5 PM.
- Access: The final 3 km to Finca Bellavista requires a 4x4 vehicle.
- Arrival: A community member will escort you from the car park to the treehouse (25-30 minute hike, crossing a river on foot).
- Amenities: No shop, restaurant, or office onsite.
- Connectivity: No internet, with limited phone signal.
- Power: No electricity or refrigeration; propane gas for cooking.
Your Stay Includes:
- Meet and Greet Hosts: Local hosts prepare the home, maintain the premises, and guide you from the car park to Fila Tortuga.
- Assistance: Hosts can arrange local taxis, fresh produce bags, meal delivery, and excursions.

January 11, 2022 at 7:49 pmThis was such a fantastic and magical place! So happy we found this treehouse and were able to stay for our honeymoon. It really does feel like you’re in the middle of the rainforest, but also provides a lot of comforts of a normal home. Highly recommend!

February 3, 2022 at 10:25 amBeautiful place complete off-grid!Since Alexander walked us (quite a long walk) to the beautiful treehouse we have not seen a soul! Be aware that you really really need an 4×4.. we tried without it and really decreased the value out of our rental before a neighbour took us up for some dollars.. if you manage however you will find a secluded paradise with waterfalls and nice tracks around.. the sounds of the jungle at night are not for everyone and can scare the sh*t out of you.. but the animals you can see in the morning make it all worthwhile! The communication on site was a little difficult.. our limited spanish skills not where not enough to properly organise the check out so when arriving at the base camp to take a taxi downhill it was closed off and we had to walk an hour and a half.. The cleaning fee seems a bit much especially when staying just a few nights but it seems to be Finca Bellavista policy and the experience is still worth it! You can just save your money on national parks and just come here! We will surely never forget this jungle experience! Thanks James for having us!! We will definitely come back!

March 16, 2024 at 3:24 pmGreat place to unplug and disconnect and just be grounded with nature at its best. Myself and my partner really enjoyed this treehouse stay. Lots of places to hike and swim with beautiful rainforest surroundings and sounds. Would for sure do this type of experience again.
