February 28, 2023 at 8:45 amThe treehouse is in a beautiful location – but extremely difficult without a car! Bear in mind that you really do need a 4×4 to get there! Once there however, the treehouse is such a wonderful place to spend a few days – definitely more of an experience and you need to come prepared to be fully off grid. Waking up to the sounds of the monkeys and being able to watch them from our bed with 365 degree views of the jungle was a truly special experience. We saw toucans, monkeys, chameleons, geckos and bats – all before even leaving our treehouse to go on a walk. Lovely waterfalls nearby for a dip – especially useful as the water in our treehouse was a bit temperamental – but if you go in with an open mind, you’ll have a fab experience. Also bear in mind that there is no restaurant onsite anymore since 2020, so you need to bring all food and drink onsite with you, and a headtorch is a must!
