An intentional community is a group of people who choose to live together around shared values — sustainability, cooperation, spirituality, or simply a slower pace of life. Members design their own governance, share resources, and often build much of their own infrastructure.
Off-grid communities generate their own power, source their own water, and grow much of their own food, often in remote or rural settings. Life is shaped by the land and the seasons rather than by a city grid — trading some convenience for independence and connection.
