About Sustainability Center of Costa Rica

The Sustainability Center of Costa Rica is a community organisation in Guacimal, Puntarenas, 25 minutes by car from Santa Elena, Monteverde. It began in 2014 as the Sustainability Demonstration Center, growing out of local efforts to protect the nearby Río Veracruz, and is now creating an intentional community around the Buen Vivir ("good living") philosophy.
