Stay details

Colibri is a studio-style off-grid cabina tucked into the rainforest along the Red Trail at Finca Bellavista, a 600-acre treehouse and rainforest community in Piedras Blancas, Puntarenas, Costa Rica.

The stay is simple and intentional: a full-sized bed, a private bathroom with hot water, and a basic kitchenette with essential cooking equipment but no refrigeration. There is no mains electricity or Wi-Fi at the cabina, making it well suited to a genuine digital detox. Natural light and forest sounds take the place of screens.

Finca Bellavista’s full trail network is accessible directly from the property, with hiking routes leading to swimming holes, waterfalls, and viewpoints through the surrounding rainforest. Toucans, howler monkeys, and a wide range of bird and wildlife species are regularly spotted on and around the property.
