About this Event
Alegría Village comes together for two days of regeneration and celebration. Over the course of the festival, the community plants thousands of trees using syntropic agroforestry methods — a hands-on introduction to syntropic farming, where fast-growing pioneer species, food crops, and long-term timber trees are planted together to rebuild soil and canopy at the same time.
Beyond the planting, the festival is a full community gathering: workshops on syntropic design, live music, shared meals cooked from the village’s own gardens, and open celebration into the evening. Whether you’re here to get your hands in the soil or just to be part of the gathering, everyone is welcome.
